I saw this on another forum. Not sure who it's likely to appeal to!

I am fascinated by this one. Way overpriced considering the length of the lease, so no wonder it is not selling. The furniture, coupled with the lease length, suggests someone older, but there are clear signs of young children. Bathroom modern, kitchen awful. So many possible scenarios ...

I'm really surprised you think the style is an 'older' person - looks like a fairly typical family home to me albeit perhaps someone on a low income - There's clearly a teenager and the kitchen sink hints at toddlers? If it is someone older - maybe they're helping with child care in the day?0 -
Despite obvious signs of a child, surely a normal type family wouldn’t be in a flat with only 58 years on the lease. It’s been unmortgageable for 2 decades and is to be sold chain free.0

Is it a block of council flats? If the occupier inherited the flat but is on a low income, maybe they couldn't afford to renew the lease?0 -

Indeed - but commutable distance to York? Holiday estate in the North Riding Park - 20 miles from the sea? Smallholding (well, very large holding :rotfl:) or farm - forestry - lots of ways to make money with a wodge of land that big.
However, Band D Council Tax for the bungalow! How often does the bin man come up the private road?0 -
