London Rail 12th Jun 19 at 12:25 PM
I'm travelling from Biggleswade to London 02 on Saturday 15th June and coming back to Biggleswade from London on Sunday 16th June. I just wanted to check on what is the cheapest way to do this. Would it be cheaper to buy 2 singles to London for each day and use an oyster card on both days through London? Or would it be better to buy a London all day travel card for both days? Btw not exactly sure if we might go somewhere else throughout London on both day rather than just going straight to the 02. I'm just not that knowledgeable on oyster cards and travelling around London so any advice would be greatly appreciated 😊 I hope that this is clear 😊

Basically yes, you need to buy a Super-Off-Peak single ticket into London on the 15th and same again back for the 16th. The fare is 14.50 each way. You can buy them both at Biggleswade on the 15th. If you have an Oyster card then you can use it for the travel within London, but if you haven't got one any contactless credit/debit card will do the job.
If two of you are travelling together, you could buy a "Two Together" Railcard for 30 which gives both of you 1/3rd off the train fare, reducing the 58 to 38.20 and then 1/3rd off any other trips which you do together for the next 12 months.
