Your debt is not huge and is decreasing. You're doing very well. You don't have to clear it NOW! Selling stuff will get difficult now due to postage problems with the Xmas period. You could hang on to shoes and boots and concentrate on not buying more as unless they're brand new I doubt you'd get much and they no doubt cost you a lot. It would be false economy if you then had to buy more when yours started to fall apart!
Try and get to bed at a good hour and sleep. I remember worrying about money all the time and I developed heart issues. Might have happened anyway I realize but I persisted in plotting away every last penny, worrying away despite feeling pain in my chest when I did.
So take care of your health and take it steadily. If it takes an extra 2 months or so does it matter that much? Enjoy Xmas with your .5. And get a good night's sleep tonight.

  • Oooppps due to celebrations and leavers and all that kind of thing at work ... my debt has gone up .. I feel like every time I go to work my purse gets emptied :(

Think my actual debt has gone up ...December is such an expensive month

Plus one - yes the same person who I asked for at least the last three months Just what they wanted ... and the reply was - No thanks didn't really want anything....... has just reeled off a list of 4 very expensive things ...(!)

Still have stuff that could go on ebay ...but just can't be bothered to sort that out at the minute.

Need to make a to do plan of action for work and actually do it ( well as much of it as possible )

Will work out how much I need to spend on presents too :(

Why not ask what sort of money he thinks would be appropriate to spend on each other?
