Afternoon all. This month I have a self imposed £20 per week (monday to sunday) plus £20 "happy money" to spend on myself. In my purse - to last until sunday - is £1.53! I am at a patchwork class tomorrow (£15 from my "happy purse") so should be able to achieve it. I dream of having that money left over to add to my happy purse rather than taking it out!
Good luck everyone for the weekend xx44 day challenge

Hi All,
Been awol for March and April but just updated my spreadsheet and it looks like I did ok anyway so am pleased with myself. This month I am going for £400 and for the first time this is going to include alcohol and friday night 'treats' which I don't normally include but need to be realistic as this is too high and so if I include it in grocery budget I will try and keep more in control...
So £400 will include grocery, cleaning, toiletries and treats for 2 adults, 3 kiddiwinks and 2 chickens
Not starting til monday as it is DHs payday and trying to get thru til then. Tonight is chicken curry and HM chana dahl to use up some yellow split peas that were lurking in the cupboard!
Good luck everyone!

I am going to drop my monthly amount to £250, I don't need to be on the front page.
I am spitting feathers, I did a big shop at Tesco this morning, I did a lot of stocking up so I could make use of the £10 off if you spend £80 only to find I couldn't use it until Monday.
Never mind I have loads of stuff in now. I have put another £10 on my Tesco clubcard for Xmas. Even though I don't post very often I pop in when I can, I would like to say thankyou to everyone for all their tips and ideas.Jan GC £300/£296 :j March GC £375/£336:j
