As above never speak to them.
plus these are not fines, penalty's or anything else of that ilk.

A few things that will help us to help you, based on your opening post:

You say the parking charge was issued to a vehicle parked in your own space, with your permission, these are known as residential ( own space) parking tickets and in most cases can put the victim ( ie you/the driver) in a very strong position.
do you still have a copy of the lease/freehold/rental agreement and anything to do with the parking arrangements at the property?
more often than not, the parking company will not have the right to issue tickets on what is to all intents and purposes your property anymore than it would be able to issue tickets/charges for using the lavatory after 11pm at night.

This has caused you quite a few problems which will take time and money to put right (do not pay the CCJ off you must get it set aside)

in the firing line to refund you these costs is the management company of the estate, as it is they who hired the PPC and as such as they hired the pakring company to act on their behalf will be jointly liable, as well as the parking company.

So do you have any paperwork relating to the property and the parking?

Even though I was not the registered owner or driver, they told me I had transferred liability by appealing.

    Wow, just wow. Show us!
