    Midland became HSBC, you can complain about the policy if you have good reasons and evidence

    Midland Bank became HSBC in June 1999, so any finance (and PPI) provided by Midland will now be approaching or over two decades old. If you are no longer a customer of HSBC, the chances of them still holding any record of you from that time are nil.
    Do you have documentary evidence of your own that you had PPI with Midland?
