  • Hi, My Jar have come back and made me an offer of £1,064.27 has anyone else had an offer from them before and did you accept the first offer?
    Thanks

Myjar were very quick and made me an offer that was pretty fair so I accepted their offer. They paid out next day too.

I am still waiting to hear back from My Jar - got an acknowledgement email but nothing else - that was about 6 weeks ago.

Ferratum said they rejected my complaint of irresponsible lending but in a "gesture of goodwill" have written off my outstanding debt (approx. £600).

Quick quid rejected my claim - now with ombudsmen

My Jar took about 7 weeks for me but they did come back with an offer so fingers crossed
  • I've had great success using resolver with:

    £3000 from WDA
    £1550 from myjar

    £3400 from 118118

    So amazing results

My big one though was with quickquid. The Financial ombudsman adjudicator has told me he's had my business file from them finally. Can anyone give me an idea of how long a decision will be now?

    Thanks
  • Wow amazing results! How much were your loans for? How long did WDA take to get back to you? Thanks
  • Interesting reading, thank you everyone. I have hit rock bottom myself, I know I am in debt and at this moment it's payday loan after payday loan just to live. My salary keeps on top of payments, all loans paid in full or being paid but I cannot sustain it any more. I don't even know where to start to be honest. Do I issue complaints or do I speak to professionals? Do I continue to pay? I feel this post is my start to recovery but I really don't know where to begin. Any advice would be welcomed.

  • Changing time - I would ask Sara on Debt Camel she literally knows everything :)
  • Hey Ho

Newbie here, and now £2500 better off.

After reading a few bits & pieces i decided to complain to all the PDL's i had taken loans from over the years.

I have had multiple loans with multiple companies, yes I know, I know... but sometimes it was take the loan or not eat.

I used the initial template letter from Debt Camel, got the info i needed from them, filled in the bits on the second template letter and waited and waited and waited.

I then got some replies, some saying they required longer to investigate my complaint, Others MyJar & Ferratum upholding my complaint and paying out immediately £75 & £234 from those baddies.

PDUK ( who took 11 weeks from start to finish) upheld my complaint yesterday & offered £925 (accepted) PDE say they require more info (FOS for them) and today SNC offered £1100 (accepted). I still have 2 ongoing QQ ( dragging their heels) Wonga (No Chance of seeing a penny).

I would urge anyone who has ever taken a loan with any of these companies to complain. There is no doubt they didnt carry out the required checks 3-4 years ago. They owe you money. GO AND CLAIM IT. if i can do it, anyone can, :money::money::money::money:
