Good luck, I know exactly what I need to be doing for it, but its hard as I keep racing too which sets me back. If I keep the speed of the running down its not too bad.
Hopefully you will get yours sorted, but in short, keep going with the calves, add in eccentric heel dips and roll the bottom of your foot and you won't be too far off“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

Well, this year was a bit of a bust but on reflection I did managed to do 'more fell walking' which was my aim.
Winter hill (many many times), Fair snape fell (great walk with a fantastic view), Ingleborough, Pen-Y-Ghent, Snowdon and Scafell
I wasnt quite prepared for how tough Scafell was! I was in pain for a good few days after that one!
Junk food, stuff with added suger, and general lack of movment means my weight has slipped.
Starting in a couple of weeks I will hopefully get back out walking again slowly increasing the distance until the end of the year so I can start next year on 1 week on full distance of 40 miles a week to try and get to the overall target of 2000 miles again. Just hope my shins will cope a little better!0 -

Target reached :T :T :T 3337.8 miles for the year as of today.
So pleased that I have hit my target but feel that I should have made it a higher number to start with. I underestimated how much influence my dog would have on me, he just never says no to a walk and in fact, he takes me out more than I would actually like to go.0 -

My mileage for October is 148.75 miles, which is the highest number of the year so far. I am averaging 4.79 miles per day, which I think is pretty good for someone who works full time as well.
My target for the year is 1500 miles. I have done 1396 miles already, so well ahead. I would like to reach my target by the end of November.0 -
