    Hello again SPCers!

Here's hoping to a better day weather wise, with everyone being able to get around without the rain being such a pest.
To all those members who are poorly or low in any way, please know that we're thinking of you all and wishing you all the best to soon feel much better. :grinheart

Hello again MrsShazbat, it's lovely to hear from you, though reading through your post I see you've been having real problems this year. I sincerely hope next year will be much kinder to you, and that whatever is wrong with your wrist can be put right. It's not easy when we're living life under par, but let's hope for better things to come soon!
SPC is most definitely continuing as 32b3 is helping me from now on, bless her! :D She just was not prepared to let our precious thread go, and now that I'm in a lot less pain, neither am I! :D
I sincerely hope you're much better soon and more able to get your finances in order next year.

It's good to see you Choccygirl, and to know you will starting back at work soon! :j
My word how well you're doing with reaching such an amount...so far! You've still got some time left so all the best.

Lovely to see you too, siju! :grinheartThat's a lovely lot of money you've recently potted, very well done! I did notice you'd had a perfect and quiet weekend in your last post, good for you.

It's good to see you, Dreamworlded. :D That's one thing with the notifications, they keep everyone on the ball, or are designed to! Not long to go now so keep up the potting!

PS. Don't forget to get you bags from the bank and please ensure ALL your numbers are on your siggys!!!!

    Sue x

Hi all, just stopping by to declare my yearly potting total.

Mine was coins only, and i did fall away from potting over the summer when things were a bit leaner :)

However, I'm delighted that my total is £180 bagged and going to the bank! I also have a loose change pot which is anything 20p and under. I'll be taking this to my local coin machine tomorrow as none of it is enough to bag in each denomination. My best guess is that it'll tip me over the £200 mark but not by much.

Really pleased with this :D It's going to go either towards Christmas presents or towards my son's birthday party in December. Whatever shouts the loudest!

    So...

    #75 is declaring £200

Thanks for all the encouragement along the way! I'll definitely be back for Potting 2019/20.

In the meantime, can't wait to see all your numbers :)

    Yayyyyy! welcome back Sue!

Well im full of cold and its really getting on my nerves now, coughing and spluttering over everything and everyone, plus got a nice old ear infection to go along with it so really fed up :o
Puppy is coming up to 6 months old  I don't know how its happened, I swear it was only 3 weeks ago we picked her up. She's an absolute ball of energy and love, if I don't get down the stairs quick enough after she hears me moving about she sits by my chair and quietly whines :rotfl: the best thing is that DD is no longer scared of her, she hugs her, plays with her, pulls her around, they sit together on the sofa etc, for a little girl who was terrified of dogs and rang me sat on her bed 3 months ago crying cos I was out and the dog had got upstairs and was running round her bed its awesome to see her over her fear and so in love with the puppy :)
Also Harley is learning her place with our lovebird, he takes absolutely no guff from her at all :rotfl: she licks his cage and he tries to get her through the bars, she keeps going back though :rotfl:

A lovely £1 coin in the pot last night after a trip to the city to buy DD some pyjamas as she seems to have had a massive growth spurt and work shoes for DS as he managed to split not one but both soles whilst at work yesterday

Now to drag myself off to do something constructive as I've given in to this cold for long enough!

  • Hello Sue !! How wonderful to see you back! I'm so happy that your pain has eased at last. It does drag you down so, doesn't it. G has been to the pain clinic at the local hospital and has been diagnosed with Cervical Torticollis (dystonia) We paid privately for Botox injections which did nothing for the pain and he now has to wait until early December for his next appointment. It's so frustrating, to put it mildly, that no one seems to know how to help him.

Anyway, I'm still potting bits and pieces of change when I can but I've also set myself the challenge of Stash to Cash whereby I'm making craft items and selling them to raise money (and buying the barest minimum of stuff, mainly adhesive, in order to do it) The money is going into a separate pot which I'll count up and add to my pot total on the big day. At the moment my Christmas toppers are selling well so I'm hopeful of a decent sum to add.

Hope everyone is ok and sending ((HUGS)) to anyone in need of one.

  • Lovely to hear from Sue :j. I potted £2.04 last night from the food shop. I have my car booked in for it’s MOT on Tuesday and not terribly hopeful:(. I also have yet another job interview on Monday :). However I do have an application in for where I work now. They are recruiting 9 new posts on one department and it’s a role I’ve previously done and really enjoyed. Going to do a pros and cons list for both, one is nearer, less money and less hours; other is more money, where I work now and more scope for development. Although the interviewers on Monday may make the decision for me :rotfl:

Hi there jakes-mum and thank you. I hope this post finds your cold a lot drier than yesterday. Such miserable things for certain especially when described as you did!:( I thought your Lily would have loved Harley from the beginning, but as long as her fears gone now and she loves her company then that's wonderful.

Oh little_sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear about G, you too A. I'd never heard of it until I looked it up just now. I'll contact you in a moment. Meanwhile, well done in doing all you're able re the potting and and your crafts to gain some money, an excellent idea to keep it going as it's good for you especially right now! :) Love and hugs to you both. xx

Lovely to see you again, Hetty! :D Well done with the potting.
I sincerely hope your fears aren't realised with your car MOT and that it's not too costly either! All the best with your interviews, though I sincerely hope you'll be fortunate in getting the one that makes you happiest. All very best wishes xx

I forgot to mention the other day that over the last few weeks my potting has been a Total of £45!!! :D Well happy with that though it's been a while.

Have a lovely evening and a wonderful weekend!!
Don't forget to keep potting!

  • Morning,

Potted quite a bit this weekend, mainly £2 coins but some shrapnel too.

I'm on holiday from work next Thursday/Friday so will be armed with money bags ready to count up.

I can't believe how quick this year has flown xx
