Unread posts link not working

Hi
To the left of each thread title is a little dot that can be green, orange or grey. If it is green, clicking it should take me to the first unread post in a thread I've already viewed.
This isn't working for me - clicking it just refreshes the page I'm on.
Is this a problem just for me, or is it a site issue?

Can anyone at MSE help with this?0

If would be great if someone at MSE could look into this. It used to be great to be able to jump to the first unread message in a thread from the message list screen. I'm not sure how long it hasn't been working.0

None of the coloured dots do anything at the moment as far as I can see0

I have posted three times, and "reported" this post and have had no reply.
Can anyone suggest how to get MSE staff to address the issue?0 -
Can any forum members suggest how I can contact the MSE team to ask them to look at this?
My efforts so far have proved unsuccessful.0 -

Which dot?
Which site style are you using?
What browser?
If you mean this green dot:
Then AFAIK, it never did anything other than indicate whether the user concerned is presently logged in to MSE.0 -
The Green Dot indicates that there are unread posts in the thread. Clicking it should take you to the first unread post.
TBH, without it, I'm not sure how others use the forum.
Not sure how long it's been broken for, but it makes using MSE really hard.0 -
Okay, I see what you mean.
You can still go to the unread end of a thread by clicking on the "Latest post" link in the middle of each row.
Or you can use the Green layout (like I do) where the equivalent functionality has always worked.
Hopefully someone from the Forum team will take a look here tomorrow, but I am not clear whether the functionality was ever intended to work as you describe. Did it used to work?0 -
