Options
Have become a single mum which was a very big shock and unexpected. I have no idea how much money i will have coming in but know about value shopping but not much else.

Have already done the tax credits but not sure what else to do so any help appreciated.

hi sorry to hear you have become a single mum
it happened to me two years ago
firstly you can claim income support if you are not working you need to speak to your local jobcentre
within those forms are housing benefit and council tax benefit
(not sure of your circumstances if you rent your house you will get housing benefit)

    hope this helps
and dont worry try to be strong

    Hiya..

Chin up and not to worry.. lots of bods on here to give you good tips.

I would also suggest having a look at the moneysaving old style board.. lots mums on there to chat with and exchange ideas.

I would get all my paperwork out and look at what you have coming in/ out each month and post that when you have time.
