    Sorry to hear about the over-indulgence at the weekend. Just put it behind you and move on, rather than beating yourself up about it. These things happen and it's a tough habit to break. Insidious, too. It's why I just don't let myself indulge the urge; I honestly don't know if I'm an alcoholic but I'm pretty sure with my weakness for over-indulgence, once I let myself have one or one night of drinking I'd be back to where I started pretty quickly, and I just don't want to live like that any more. It always seemed like a good idea at the time, but I can't say I enjoyed life while I was doing it.

    Re indulging the urge- I seem incapable of drinking less than 7 plus units in one sitting probably I'm happiest drinking at least 10 units :o

    Yeah, me too. It's why it's got to be all or nothing for me. I tried to go down the moderation road for years and I just didn't have that level of self-control. Hats off to everyone who has. *respect*
