No - there are various rules and depending on how a competition is run there does not have to be a free entry route, postal or otherwise - a purchase can also be required for competitions (except for Northern Ireland where the rules are slightly different) but the purchased item is not allowed to be sold at a higher price than usual simply because it includes a competition entry.0
