Feel free to post what you're having/planning/eating for lunch as this may give others a idea of what to make and I'm always up for inspiration.

There are 22 working days up for grabs.

Let me know if you want to join in and I'll add you to the list on the next post.

    So come on.....who's in???

Stick me down for 15 please (I have a few days of annual leave so not working a full month). Lots of soups (tinned or homemade) and warmed-up leftovers if it carries on like this - I work outside some of the time!

Its really easy, slice some chicken breasts breadth-ways into 1cm slices, marinade overnight then grill with whatever veg you fancy. Squeeze of lemon over the top just before serving. Or it's nice in wraps with grated cheese and bbq sauce.

For the marinade I use plain yoghurt, tikka powder, chilli powder, cumin, garlic granules and salt but there are loads of marinade recipes on line.

I used to love cooking and I'm getting back into my old ways, which I'm really enjoying.

Today brought in leftover aubergine dal, based on Jamie Oliver's recipe. I don't bother with roasting in the oven though, just chuck everything in the pressure cooker for 15 minutes and it's good to go. I love dals and split pea recipes, they're so cheap but filling (and freeze well!).

I can't take any of the credit for that one, Storm89 recommended it to me and it's pretty decent. I ordered the book (used) on Am@zon for 4

Today's lunch was going to be chicken stir fry but I ate it for breakfast
