I opened this email in great excitement, as we are on duty in New Jersey in January.
Unfortunately the flights are London only and the travel period is too early for us. We might have considered going via Heathrow if it had worked out.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

I too opened the email thinking this was possibly a great deal for my travel plans to west coast or HNL next year. It was only when I read the t&cs and performed a few searches. Basically you have to be travelling in Dec or early Jan and have to return by 6 Jan, although it does say max stay is 12 months . Also states regional airports but the better prices all from LHR.
Good deal for someone who has left travel plans late or is encouraged to book a trip on impulse.0 -
It'll be because there are few business people travelling around Christmas.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Probably the case. Rather late for many who will have already made travel plans for Christmas/New year. I am hoping they repeat their business class deals they had this Summer, probably works out a similar price as this offer.
Good deal otherwise.0 -
On the few searches I did, I came up with good business class availability from MAN, EDI & NCL.
Be cautious if you're going from MAN, as some flights were going to be on flying cattle trucks aka Boing 757.
p.s. some flights were coming out at less than £1008 each, which was nice !0 -
We managed a bit of an offer - BA Avios bonus if paying part cash, part Avios. MAN to PHL on 13th Jan for £846 for the two of us.
Economy, of course.
We have so many Avios from our travels when DS lived in lovely Florida.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
