    • Water garden
    • Re-sow basil

This looks like a fun and positive place for regular visits!

    Today I have
    • left my purse at home (Not deliberate but will definitely save me money!)
    • put a load of washing out to dry and another in the machine for mum to hang out
    • made a list of needs to maximise work double discount at MrT
    • completed a survey
What is 'B/L/D from stores' ?

I will be back - I like this accountability!

    Luc x

  • geez I'm exhausted! Madam has playdate this afternoon for her birthday and so I have cleaned the whole house (opps not our bedroom though!), put things away, generally ran around!

went gc shopping and spent £32 :D

went to the allotment this morning and watered all of the plants - that was a full hour workout, pumping the pump and walking backwards and forwards to the water tank!

Going to go and jump in the bath and read for 15 mins before going to get the poppets!

    Afternoon all :)
Not quite so hot today, or not yet anyway!
    Small things so far today:
Rang the NT and enquired whether we are eligible for 'Senior' membership, as we are both over 60 and have been members for years. We are. £28.80 refund on its way :T. Not sure why they don't just apply this reduction, as all the details are on their system, but you have to contact them to request it - how many others are paying the full amount when they could receive this discount? If I hadn't idly looked at the small print on the back of the renewal letter, I still wouldn't have known about it!
    Checked banks and updated spreadsheet
Finished off some items from the fridge for lunch
Made a pot of Bolognese before it got too hot, to use up veg in fridge - had to throw away a carrot and a stick of celery that had gone bad
Chopped and froze remaining mushrooms not used in Bolognese
Packed and posted 4 ebay parcels :)
Did an Ipsos survey which promises laundry products to try out :)

Did a shop, stocked up and used a £12 off a £60 shop voucher in Mr S, plus a handful of extra Nectar points vouchers :) They have sent me vouchers for £9 off for the next couple of weeks. Won't use them, as a £60 shop is huge for me! As it is the £60 included a large cool bag which was reduced, which I thought would be easier and neater than shopping bags for non-perishables in the camper van.

Still need to make a frittata and water the garden. Was poised to collect GD from preschool this afternoon as this morning DD had a scare with baby GS, who choked on a croissant  It was only a partial blockage thank goodness, but she couldn't get him to cough it up, so called for an ambulance. Both the ambulance service and the hospital were fab, and after checking him over, the doctor allowed him home in time to collect his big sister :T Of course, GS, being only 7 months and living very much in the moment, has long forgotten about what happened just after 10am :rotfl: DD says he isn't having anything that isn't mashed up ever again :rotfl:Trouble is he is a piggy baby who grabs whatever everybody else is eating, so I can't see finger foods not happening - but probs no more croissants for a while
Put some stuff away in the garage (though I have just noticed 2 more things that need to go down there )
Put more stuff back in camper van - trying to clear stuff mountain in dining room!
Paid window cleaner (not moneysaving, but my days of climbing ladders / leaning out of upstairs windows are over, and so are OH's!)

Washing out on line to dry

Climbed up on the (very) raised bed and summer pruned the cordon trees at the back - that was a hot job!
OH fixed the catch on the small landing window :T I thought I would have to get a double glazing specialist firm in to do that, so money definitely saved there :j And we will be able to have it open again, which will help with keeping the house cool

OH also fixed the garden brooms, which had both lost their heads. I knew he could do this though, as he is good at fixing much more complicated wooden things than that! Good to see him saving money instead of spending it :rotfl::rotfl:

Just about to make a frittata to use up more veg :)
