Enjoyed a walk round town this afternoon when we collected his hearing aid batteries

Complete fail for me after last weekends no spend weekend!! Had a spendy day yesterday in town, although all planned spends. Been to Aldi today, took my list and stuck to it but still a bit spendy. We go away in a couple of weeks and come back just before Christmas so I’ve been stocking up on things that I can freeze, or have a long enough shelf life to last TIL the big day, so I’m not rushing round like a headless chicken at the last minute.
Then I nipped into the local charity shops and got myself 3 books and a couple of work tops, £7.00 in total, which is the price of one of the books new, so I don’t feel too bad....
Hoping for a NSD tomorrow.
Have a great week everyone xxxx0 -

Happy Monday, very wise to get in ahead of the crowds re Christmas. And your spend in the charity shop was very good value, plus you're recycling by buying used! An all-round win. :j:j

Hi Cathybird, can I sign up for December please. I'll keep it at 10 for this month as I'm conscious there will be Christmas purchases but hope if I can achieve 10 NSDs in December, I will try and increase in January.
So off to a good start - today is NSD 1/10

Buying used is great! So many clothes/books etc are discarded when there is still plenty of life in them. It's a really good thing to do environmentally and it's frugal too! x And it helps the charities!
