Replacing flush washer - Twyford cistern 24th Jun 19 at 8:41 AM
I've a Twyford Galerie close coupled cistern that has a small leak into the pan. The valve is OK and shuts off, but I suspect the flush washer has some dirt on it giving rise to the small leak.

Having taken the top off it's not clear how to remove the flush assembly - and I can't find any diagrams online. Anyone any ideas?

For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.

They are usually on a bayonet arrangement. Try pushing down slightly and rotating about 1/8th of a turn anti-clockwise.
