Hi Susan lovely to see you back glad you are feeling better and congrats on the new baby. Yeah agree the foraging hasnt been great this year even the rosehips seem a bit thin on the ground round here. The brambles are quite prolific but they are sooo small it seems a shame to pick them. Was in Ikea the other day and bought a big metal stacking shelf so going to sort out cupboards and change things around which should give me a better idea of what i have and hopefully tidy up the kitchen a bit (not holding my breath on that one though).
Mmm to the cheese would go lovely with my chilli jam swap? lol xx

I wonder if weezl has had her baby. I saw a post by her saying it was due this month.

Wouldn't it be fun to have an update from her and find out if she still does the challenges.

    Hello All
I haven't been on here for soooo long
I really should check out whats going on eh ?

I have been fairly busy over the last year.
I met up with an old friend/boss last year... things progressed and we now live together
    I am definatley enjoying life
I still use the carrot cake recipe from the site, and everyone loves it !
I really want to try a few more of the recipes, for my partner, as he eats meat. I know it would help our budget

I hope every one is well

Thank you for the news shanks.
Congratulations to weezl and hubbie if you are still checking in here.
potty, lovely to hear your good news too.

I am still trying to feed lots of hungry men on a limited budget. Just three living here with me now. I made butternut squash risotto on Friday evening and while I popped next door 'they' added some expensive sweet cure organic bacon to it. I was horrified but as we didn't pay for the bacon I relented and didn't berate them too much. Still don't know if it was just one of them or if they were in it together
