    Oh Smodlet :D:D:D

Ahh I got rid of that one as I thought it was the reason I kept getting the 404 and 503 etc etc errors. I realised my ping had stopped pinging yesterday, tried to uninstall it and install the Prolific Assistant instead but somehow managed to get my 10 year old's bookmarks on my laptop instead! I then tried getting VisualPing back but honestly not the foggiest how I ever managed to get that thing to ping.

Perhaps I will shut it down and restart as our IT department always used to tell us :D

I think my extension has died. It used to bring up all these studies I could not do as soon as I opened the interweb but now nothing happens. :(

I haven't had any studies for a week since I changed the page monitor to check only once per minute.

Either the studies have dried up or 60 seconds is too long a interval to get studies before all places are taken.

Every time I click on "Studies", I get the 503 error. I hope my paltry balance is still accessible when I get to £5. Beginning to wonder if PA is on the way out. Time for a bit of investment in a server that can cut it, imho, rather lining pockets.

I used to get that a lot too when I had prolific assistant installed. It's working fine for me today but I don't have any page checker now since I broke visual ping :(

OMG, maybe I had better get rid of it then... Unless this is a cunning plan to stop people having a so-called alert thingy. For all the use it is at the moment, I might as well get rid of it. Tips on how to do so would be good... :o:rotfl:

ETA: Where is our resident IT lecturer when we need him? I hope he does not "LOL" at his students when they ask him questions. How does he fit them in between studies/swagbucking, we wonders, yes we wonders?

Hi, Smodlet, I also had to disable Prolific Assistant to get rid of the 503's, having initially tried increasing the checking interval.. Had only been using it for a week or two. (I think I just clicked on it and went to 'manage Chrome extensions')

I don't have any alert system either and I've cashed out just over £20 in the last week or so. Helped by a £7.50 study a couple of days ago.
