Get the Thames Clipper from Embankment Pier to Greenwich and there's plenty to see in Greenwich when you get there.

All of them are near a tube or train station and you can use Oyster/contactless to get between them.
If you have a smartphone the Google Maps app will get you where you need to go and it includes transport information.0 -

£16 on the Megabus but I have an appointment at 3pm on August 9, so that's going to be tight as there are only five a day! And I doubt I can find cheaper train tickets0
