the executors to my father in law opened an executor account with HSBC....and were told that the money from his own HSBC account would be placed in the new account within 4 days. It wasn't . We asked again, they said again it would be within 4 days and it wasn't. We tried a 3rd time and despite another promise , nothing has happened in 3 weeks. How can we persuade HSBC to transfer the money, because all we get is empty promises!

Lodge a formal complaint with HSBC. Or read the replies to your other posting on the same topic.
