Malaga shuttle bus

Hi I’m flying into Malaga airport for a party in La Herradura. The taxis are coming in at £105 and shuttle transfer £85. Does anyone know a cheaper way to get there without hiring a car? I arrive in at 18.20.
Any help would be great. Thank you

I have no personal experience of them but have a look at

Have you tried Alsa? Take the train to Vialia station(1.70€) and then a bus to La Herradura0

The last bus from Malaga to La H appears to leave at 2030 so in theory you can catch that by taking the mini-train from the airport to Maria Zambrano and then walking 300 yards to the bus station.
Use the ALSA.com website to book tickets and consider your alternatives if the plane is late - theoretically you have about half-an-hour to spare.0 -

And try to take a few euros with you so that you can pay the train ticket machine.0

Yes: but when I did that I could not persuade it to give me a ticket. Fortunately the ticket inspector on the train decided that I was honest, and that it was too much trouble to sell me a ticket, so I got a free ride.
I love Spain.0
