    Hello everybody,

I hope you’ve had a great weekend, I’ll answer your questions below.

@bigbadsad The order number is shown on screen when you make your purchase but if you don’t have this, then just enter 0’s into that field and the previous info you have entered should be sufficient.

@house of cards Unfortunately QVC are not offering cashback at this time so rather than have a page which you can click through but not earn, we have just removed them completely. If they do offer cashback in the future, we will be happy to add them again.

@Monkey82 SuperCasino are no longer on the site, but this does not mean that we will stop chasing your cashback for you. The Administration team will be taking care of your claim and will keep you updated with any progress.

@cambermam Don’t worry, as Virgin Media can take around 6 months to confirm cashback we would expect this to have an answer by August.

@Goldust To have a member of the team look more closely at your purchases, can you raise a ticket at this LINK and select “my question is not covered above” from the drop down list. This will open a blank ticket for you to write in.

Thank you all, I hope you have a good start to the week.

    Many thanks,

    Leanne :)

Just to add my feedback on using Quidco. I have made a few purchases and while the cashback has been delayed for some they have all been succesful (around 5-6 claims).

However I recently purchased a new phone with a Phones4u offer of £100 cashback. I have only received £80 which was an offer that started after the £100 deal.

I have screenshots (as I always do with any online purchase to help in cases like this) with the current date/time, Quidco listing the offer as "Expires in 1 day" (3rd February 2013) and have my confirmation emails as proof of purchase. (2nd February 2013)

Quidco have investigated and have now stated that the £80 is correct as the deal actually expired on 31st January 2013. Despite me supplying screenshots and my confirmation emails. By doing so this must mean that Quidco also note that the expiry dates listed on their website are inaccurate - which really devalues their service doesn't it! What other information should I believe/not believe :-/

I'm now signed to a 2 year contract and although the £20 difference is not a huge sum it's the principal - I believe a deal/contract should be fulfilled by both sides - as does the law.

I suppose my general message is that for the majority of times my experience has been good - the most recent has felt more like dealing with some backstreet vendor who's gazumped me rather than a reputable company.

Be careful - probably safer purchasing one off items rather than signing up to contracts through Quidco.

    Hi highlyevolved,

Can I ask for you to email members@quidco.com with your screenshot and Quidco email address. In the heading could you put 'FAO Leanne MSE highlyevolved' and I'll take a look at this for you?

    Thanks,

  • I'm also having issues with Virgin Atlantic - they have refused a cash back claim of £160+ on flight purchase saying it was through another referrer, even though the purchase is logged in the activity on my Quidco account. Quidco are saying there's nothing they can do. I am FURIOUS!!

    Dear quidco Company Representative,

I have a question about a missing cashback claim.

I successfully clicked through from Quidco to a retailer and purchased an item eligible for cashback yet the transaction didn't track.

Should any subsequent cashback claim be approved so long as the following statements are true?

    1. The date and time of the transaction with the retailer tie up with the date and time of my click through on Quidco.
    2. The purchase was completed wholly online.
    3. Browser cookies were cleared prior to logging into Quidco.
    4. The retailer confirmed to me that no other referrer was involved in my purchase.

The reason I ask is that today I had a cashback claim decline 'appeal' declined and the possible reasons given contradict what the retailer tell me. I satisfied all the statements I listed above. Having spoken to the retailer it turns out their order system would normally state if the order came via a referrer such as Quidco, yet their system shows the order as being directly through their own website. There is evidence of a click through from Quidco to the retailer at the same date and time as seen in the order records from the retailer. Therefore shouldn't the retailer pay the commission to Quidco and thus provide me cashback? Previous cashback claims for untracked purchases have been successful so I am wondering how this time around the process has failed.

Please pass on my complements to those looking at my HotelPronto claim, 12 months from my money going from my account to them and none being returned to Quidco. My TCB has earned me £90 in the meantime.

Took a claim out in August 2012 with AA for £42 cash back!

Only just had a reply stating that they have "declined your claim on this occasion as the commission for the referral has been paid elsewhere"

Has anyone else had the same problem?
Will never use this web site again!
  • hey just a quick question, when i register i never seen that quidco got apparently 5£ fee per year, and i still cant find that info on their site, (must be really well hidden).
However on forums ive seen people saying that, so is it really 5£ per year, and if yes, is it charged from the amount of cashback im getting, or even if i didnt get any cashback during a year, i still will be charged that fee?
    thanks

It is mentioned in the FAQ's

    How does Quidco work exactly?

You can also register your debit and credit cards with us, and when used for high street purchases at a retailer we work with, you will again be paid the commission we receive in the form of cashback paid into your Quidco account. This cashback can then be transferred directly into your Paypal or bank account. We retain just £5 per year from your cashback earnings

So if you earn no cashback in the year you don't pay the £5 - although I would find this situation highly unlikely if you are anything like me you will soon be addicted to getting cash back!
