If you want to help a worthy cause but are strapped for cash, there are still ways you can donate. A few loyalty schemes allow you to give your rewards to selected charities, which is a great way to give without feeling the pinch.

    If you do any on line shopping, go through easyfundraising.co.uk - you register with them for your own chosen charity, and each time you go through the easyfundraising website into the retailer, a percentage of your spend goes to your nominated charity.

    You can nominate small local charities or one of the big ones, anything that has a charities registration.

    Doesn't cost you anything.

    Some charities are registered with Smile Amazon which means Amazon shopping can also benefit the charity of your choice.

    Don't forget that some charities also collect unwanted old/foreign money and used stamps which they then sell to raise cash.

Total earned for 'Dogs for Good' £546.82

    2024:23 Doggy duvets, 24 pyramid pouches, 6 hot water bottle covers, 4 knitted beanies, 1 crochet angel= 58 £61 spent!!! already

    There are also 'Little Libraries' if you have any unwanted books. This helps low-income families and can have a really positive impact especially for children.

    It would be so much simpler if our loyalty cards could be dedicated to the charity or a central charity fund at the supermarket etc, rather than our having to go through separate websites.
    The Co-op Divi system used to have a Charity ID number so the customer could select it at the till.
