This is going to hit a lot of people who bought with Groupon or similar.

I looked into Jamie Restaurants when looking at London restaurants on Groupon as going to London in a few weeks time; pleased I didn't buy his!

It's time for Jamie Oliver to step up & accept his responsibility to his ex customers with gift cards. The silence is deafening. Big love....

I went to his restaurant a couple of months ago on a Groupon. Glad I didn’t pay full price! Bland food which I had to send back because it was barely hot enough, and awful service.
He deserved to go out of business.

Groupon normally refund unused vouchers in circs like this

Jamie Oliver wouldn't get paid by Groupon till the vouchers were used

Jamie’s has failed to keep up, they are the same as they were 20 years ago.
Also failed to advertise the ethical ingredients etc.

Even harvester (which is not in the same league) re-invents themselves by changing their menus and offering different services.

I made the mistake of going to a Jamie's Italian once. It was a bland high street eatary that was about £10 a head over priced. Small, poorly cooky portions that really didn't taste good.

Had it not had a celebrity name it wouldn't have lasted so long.

He liked to stick his oar in to other peoples business, shame the interfering twit didn't look after his own and take full responsibility for all the losses at least until all his money was used up.
