Cheapest (or free) Microsoft office?

I really need to find the cheapest best way of having lifelong access to Microsoft Office. We had 12 months subscription with a new laptop which has now expired but need word, ppt, publisher etc for files for my new business. I'm sure I can get it cheaper than the £79.99 I'm being asked to pay?
Tried Open Office free software but the formatting isn't always the same so that's too much hassle.

You can buy a year's subscription cheaper from Amazon. You can take a punt on a cheap code from eBay and hope it works.0 -
What about the free MS Office online edition? You need a Microsoft online account, that’s free, and the online edition is fully functional, for the most part. I think the MS online account gives you 5gb of online storage too.
Or Google Docs?0 -

Surely your business can afford the £79.99? Surely this is a miniscule payment for any business, particularly one that seems dependant on it.
You could also explore free alternatives, such as LibreOffice.0 -

And I totally agree with him. (Libra / Open Office etc are all variations on an open source theme). Borderline OK for you own non demanding use but hopeless in a corporate / academic environment if you need to interact with others using the real thing.0
