A tiny bit worried...

Have you got OCD? That can cause intrusive thoughts that aren't nice and about things that are wildly out of the realms of possibility but it still makes you worried. See a GP you like, they can always advise you about OCD and having CBT which helps calm down and get rid of your intrusive or obsessive behaviour.
As for the money side, if you're earning now and are anxious about the future, why not just save up per month so you know you can cover yourself for the future just in case?0 -
financial troubles, so my money is spent on me for work lunches, mobile phone contracts, credit card bills and maybe even clothes.
I get £1,000 a month, so there is no reason why I wouldn’t be able to afford the measly £20 a week. It’s just the ‘what if’ as in what if I get made homeless if I turn around to her one day and say ‘I can’t afford it’ and get made homeless?
If I can’t afford it, I can’t afford it...
Your priority is the roof over your head. I paid my parents £20 a week back in 1986 when I earned £50 a week gross.
If you were my offspring and you told me you couldn't afford a nominal amount towards your keep, and knowing you had a mobile contract, were buying clothes and had credit cards, I probably would kick you out to make you realise that you prioritise the roof over your head first before your need for the phone/clothes/socialising.0 -

Increase the payment to £50.
Put x amount aside each month if it will put your mind at ease.0 -

At least people are being easy on me unlike other posters.0 -
Hope you don't mind me asking, but are you on the spectrum at all?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Yes, autism0

You probably already know, but there's a higher correlation with OCD and anxiety for people with autism than with neurotypical people. Is it something you're getting support with? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
