More than one ISA

Options
Hi, I realise that you can only put £3000 in total in one isa a year... However, is it ok to leave my existing ISA alone (I havent made a deposit yet this financial year) and open another ISA somewhere else? Thanks in advance.

You can have as many different ISAs as long as long as you only contribute to one MINI Cash ISA per tax year. SO, you can pick another provider now if you wish. Its not always a good idea though as many of the providers have tiered rates so putting the two together can pay you more. Transferring ISAs is easy enough so that shouldnt be a problem unless you have a guaranteed rate product.
