Abba. All depends on how soon I see a second hand scooter in good nick I can afford.

The annoying thing about yesterday & falling is I was only in the back garden. I would have not been using scooter anyway.

Have messaged physio & she is fitting me in again next week as all the good of yesterday’s appointment was undone when I fell. You could not make it up.

Don't let it put you off getting one though Beanie, it's about independence as well as safety.

Do you know what sort you're looking for? They seem to range from £100 on The Bay to well over £1,000 so I'm assuming there's a massive difference in them?

Glad you've booked another physio appointment :) xx

Yes, some are really lightweight & can be dangerous.
Some are more sturdy & & come in different weights & can do different MPH

To be honest I just wish I could give someone the money & not have to faff about:o:o:(:(

It is definitely NOT giving in but ENABLING you.
Hope you’re not too sore and bruised.
Is there anywhere you could hire a some scooters to try before you buy to see which suits you best?

I looked at them new a wee while ago & was advised not to buy anything too lightweight. Even lightweight ones I could not lift.
So that was when the whole idea of the hoist came in. I put the whole idea to bed for a while.
So my current aim is to buy a second hand one for getting about locally.
So not not giving in but enabling.

    But certainly not MSE.

MSE is important but your well being is more so. You NEED to get out and about for your well being - MSE is plodding along and will get there - you need the scooter to get you about and keep you socialising and doing the things you need to do.

    Yes, I know.
But the CC is so near to being paid off & I think I am going to have to do a money transfer to top up the money that I currently have.
I said I would not do this but there you have it :(
