Hi can I join in for 2018 please, my number for 2017 was #40. What a year it's been one I'd like to forget and move on. Happy saving everyone.

    A very warm welcome home
, Treasurequeen!!! Your SPC No is still the same, but if you can make a note of the declaration date I'd be very grateful! All the very best that 2018 being much kinder for you.

Marvellous news about the parcel arrival jakes-mum, what a relief!!
Great news about Jake starting work soon and as you say, it will certainly keep out of trouble. ;)

Oh 32b3, that sounded like one hellish bitter work day... double pay!!
What can I say about the Apple Watch situation, yep, win win for sure! I’ve heard it’s extremely difficult to get into the London Marathon but better luck next time perhaps.
    Good potting btw! :D

Whichever way is best for you with your potting, adventureofmemories, then that’s fine by me. Whatever the amount you’ve had to take from your pot be sure to add it to your signature to remind you to declare it next November as you had already saved it! :D

Sorry to hear about your fianc!’s struggle with panic attacks, I wish him well with them.

Excellent potting Chutney, a super sum!!!:D

Fantastic potting Saver-upper!! Just remember... you can’t have it both ways! ;)

YAY!! So pleased for you siju, it’s fantastic to be set free from work!!! :j
I don’t expect many of us will be posting over Christmas as we’ll all have better things to do.
    Good savings btw!!

You’ve done really well then Iheart, brilliant work!! :j
Excellent potting Dragon Lily and a very Merry Christmas to you!!! :xmassign:

    Very well done Florence!!! :D
No. 186 reporting in from way way back and ready to start again. I will be emptying my purse every Wednesday and putting it in my pot, so it will be different every week, looking forwards to see how frugal I can be to increase the savings!!!
    Nannyg

So no savings this year then, nannygladys, very unusual for you! To be honest I thought you’d left us, but it's good to see you with us again. Please note that your No isn't as you have on your siggy, yours is 006! Also, please note next year's Declaration date, most important!

Little and often will most certainly add up, Nicnak! Keep up the good work! ;)

Very well done DancingUnicorn! Good to hear you’ve finished at school even though you have taken on more work! :D

Ok then motivated, good for you and we’ll see you after Christmas! Have a really lovely one! :D

I’ve had real problems with tiredness lately folks so I needed a full blood count test. Had the results on Tuesday and thyroid is all over the place; I have anaemia and my iron levels are right down, sodium too and Dr thinks I’m bleeding inside somewhere, so no goodies for me over Christmas as I have to have a Gastroscopy AND Colonoscopy on the 28th and there’s precious little I’m allowed to eat after tonight!!!:cry::cry: I don’t have it done until 1 pm but I have to go more than 24 hours WITHOUT ANY FOOD WHATSOEVER!!!! :( I’ve had both before but will be mighty glad when it’s all over and I’m home! :j BTW......

This year’s GRAND TOTAL is £49.306.17!!!!!! YAY!!! :j:j:T:j:j
So very happy with that folks, not yet as much as last year but as so many haven’t declared (yet) it’s an excellent Grand Total and all down to the terrific potting of us all!! Congratulations folks on a brilliant GT!!!!:T:dance: :xmassign::xmastree::xmassmile
    Sue xx

    Good evening everyone :hello:

Oh goodness Sue - I hope you don't resemble too much of a pin cushion. I'm sure you're looking after yourself, but make sure you DO rest.

And what a fantastic amount! Nearly £50,000 of basically little bits of saving here and there. It really does astound me at how the little amounts really do add up.

Speaking of small amounts, I have potted a whole £1.50 today. Every little really does help!

  • Hi everyone.Dusty here,69 yr old grandma with 4 children, plus their partners, and 5 grandkids,a great grandaughter (with another due in March),plus Mr Dusty to sort for Xmas. That's an awful lot of Xmas presents and Xmas food to buy!
So I want to spread my savings over the whole year instead of panicking late in the year whether I'll have enough. So this challenge is ideal,I would love to join you.
Annoyingly my local bank branch closed down and I have to travel 7 miles to the city to put cash into my account. So saving in a pot will be both fun and convenient (until I have to sort it all out next November that is!) :)
I have bags and coins all over the house,so I will collect it all and make a start after New Year's Day.

Hope the tests find out the problem and its an easy fix Sue

5 shiny £1 coins in my pot today, as well as about 90p in change. My daughter and I take part in a running event every Sunday morning, and then stop at sainsburys for pastries, and the cashier apologised for not having any notes, so all into the pot they go. Wont be any more potting now until after Christmas.

Hope you all have a fantastic few days, however you choose to celebrate.
