Iva meeting today!!
I have my IVA meeting of creditors this morning. I may not attending but I have been told to be available on the phone.
I'm getting quite nervous, I really hope they agree to it.
What can I expect? Will they ring me before/during and how long does it normally take afterwards to find out if you've been successful?
My meeting is at 10.15am, so it's an hour away now.
I've sorted it out through Fortis.

Hi,
Its not a meeting as such, its more like a conference call, a representative from each creditor will be in on the call, and they will either vote yea or nay, or they may want to change certain aspects of the arrangement, before agreeing.
It will all be over by now anyway, hope it went well for you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. They've not rung me yet, so I don't know
Am getting really nervous now, but I'm hoping no news is good news. Surely they'd have rung me if they had any questions?!0 -

I rang them about half 12, they said they would ring me in the afternoon and leave a message if no answer. I thought I HAD to answer their call. They did ring me finally at about half 2.
All my creditors have voted yes except one, but it can still go ahead, which is great news! They did ask for 72 months rather than 60, but I'm happy with that. The payment is affordable, and I'll finally actually be able to count down to the day I am debt free.
I was previously on a DMP with no end in sight. So it's brilliant that there is now light at the end of the tunnel. I don't think it has sunk in yet :j0 -
