I was indeed! I like a good tv addiction, though, once a year or so is fine :)

I've got so many adminny things to do with my sister, I'm heading over there today. French accounts to France will have to wait.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Blowing a gale here with torrential rain. Definitely not a day for venturing out:(

Having a sister who lives near enough to spend time with (even though it's adminny on this occasion:() sounds great. Sounds from your other posts that you both get on really well. That's a real blessing:T

Thanks both! Yes, it's a complete coincidence we live so close, so I'm very lucky. Trip to Merseyside (adminny :) ) coordinated and booked, the house will be going up for sale soon. Gulp.

And the storm was **awful**! If I'd realised it was going to be quite that bad, I might not have gone today, but otoh, there was stuff that needed to be done.

Quite a bit of relaxation going on here right now :)

Glad you had a productive day, but the weather certainly was hair-raising, wasn't it? (Literally, if you were out in it!)

    Hope you've recovered now :)

Thanks earthgirl and madvix (just squeaked in there!) :)

Quite a lot going on here right now, I've given myself a stern talking to.
    - washing machine has been on.
    - I'm scanning accountants' accounts for me, 1991-2010. Half a storage crate emptied!
    - my phone is chatting to itself, whirring through the SB videos.
    - I've tipped out all my jewellery, old and new, onto my bed, and I'll be sorting it on and off for the rest of today. And labelling the drawers this time! I've been here before :)
    - supermarket delivery around midday, got to be ready for that.

    Otherwise, I'm going to:
    - hang out the washing (next thing! its sunny, but for how long?)
    - put another wash on.
    - saw down a lonely fence post at the front, part of the adminny stuff is that my brother's bringing another van of stuff down, and it will include a tip run. That fence post *deserves* to be in the tip.
    - there's a massive amount of cleaning to do in this house. I may start with the hob of the stove ... and I may be gone some time ...

Good luck to all of us.

Glasgow is trying to tell me that spring has sprung - there is a certain something in the air today :j

I wish I hadn't read the word 'adminny'. I now associate it with 'whinny' and all I can picture is horses tidying up their desks. I wonder if Margaret Atwood wrote a short story about that...
