Oooh, Hidden, I have just noticed that somehow I have two numbers on your master spreadsheet of doom on page 1.

I seem to be #161, but also #65

    Unless I have confused myself.

Looks like you're right. I'm happy to use whichever number you like best. ;-)

    Hello Everyone,

Number 39 here. A few blips in the month of April has led to an OP of £136.00. Not sure we'll get much better for May either but I'll let you know when we get to the end!

    Thank you

Thanks Hiddenshadow for keeping me accountable by running this thread. :D

#169 reporting May payment of £1,186.74. My mortgage dropped just below £130k today - still a very long way to go, but £22k down in 2 years. Being very frugal on food and energy bills :)

#143 reporting in with April's over payments totalling £258.20.

This brings our mortgage down to £99,000.00 and marks the end of what would have been our original mortgage (a 5 yr fix which we took out when we brought our home)

We instead remortgaged 3 yrs in, took the ERC hit, and switched to a much cheaper deal and started overpaying.

If we had stayed on the original deal and not overpaid, the balance would have been £105,721.

As the LTV is really good we fixed for 5 yrs @ 1.94% and we'll kick it up a notch by aiming to pay off £1,000.00 off the capital balance each month

Thanks everyone for keeping us motivated with all your stories and over payments
