Oh no - the bathroom!! Got 3 x toilets and hand basins to do plus the shower. I know I'll feel better when it's done but my second least favourite room (kitchen most least favourite) - at least the bad ones will be out of the way first. I've altered the list to this and I doubt I'll get all of it done as lots of appointments tomorrow (4) so will be pushing it:

Scrub the loo inside and out.
Finish with a slosh of bleach
    Clean the handbasin(s)
    Clean baths and showers
    Clean any shower screens

Off to bed now, night all x

We've got a few days in Buxton in a couple of weeks, mainly to go to the RHS Tatton Park horticultural show - so if anyone else is going, I'll give you a wave. Won't be fun if the weather is this hot.

Oh well dinner on, that is next.
Ooh wave as you drive by in fact if you're coming up the M1 you'll practically pass Villa Valli:D

move them and clean all worktops
[STRIKE]Put some water in to cool[/STRIKE]

    Level 2
[STRIKE]Wipe cupboard fronts, drawer fronts and handles[/STRIKE]
    Clean the windows
    [STRIKE]Sweep the floor[/STRIKE]
Mop or vacuum floor if appropriate

    Level 3
    Dust where necessary
    Clean windows

    Extras
    [STRIKE]S&S bathrrom[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]HHI - more like 2 as not done any since Wednesday :p[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]MAD half hour[/STRIKE] done after kids decided to do some crafting
[STRIKE]Use the oven intelligently =- can you make two meals and save cooking time later? [/STRIKE] not using the oven at all too hot - salads here today :o

    [STRIKE]wash darks and whites
return coffee pods, take kids to hobbycraft and cex [/STRIKE]

Tip Top Tuesday - bathroom bliss

    Level 1

[STRIKE]Remove all towels/cloths etc and pop them into the wash - make it a HOT wash and give your machine a clean at the same time![/STRIKE]
Get a clean, damp cloth and wipe all the place fingers touch
Scrub the loo inside and out.
Finish with a slosh of bleach
    Polish the towel rail.

    Level 2
    Clean the handbasin(s)
Remove the plug and clean it thoroughly
Remove anything icky from the plughole
be a bleach baby and bleach that plughole!

    Level 3
    Clean baths and showers
    Wash any shower curtains
Clean any shower screens - I use detergent in hot water to wipe off the scum and then finish with windowcleaner for a sparkle
If you use a wiper give the rubber blade a good wipe over
    Mop the floor.

    Extras
Empty a cupboard in there. Throw out anything icky and wipe the shelves over before replacing all tidily.
[STRIKE]Top up the loo roll store. [/STRIKE] hubby did this last week
Clean the window - wipe the frame before cleaning the glass.
[STRIKE]Empty the bin - and wash it and leave it outside in the sun to dry![/STRIKE] funny did this today as the bins got emptied today so had run around emptying them all last night

Get a bucket of hot water - give the loo brush a good rinse and put it out in the sun to dry! Don't forget the holder! Damp, scummy brushes breed germs. If it's too awful to contemplate, wrap it and bin it and buy a new one from a cheap household store.

    Extra for me
    HHI

That should keep me out of trouble for a couple of hours !!!!

    Morning All,

First things first, I have seen on the Daily thread that our lovely fellow Flylady Lamewolf is not having a good time of it at the moment. I am sure she will post when she is ready, but in the meantime LW if you're reading remember we are all here for you xxx

I have a lot of paperwork frogs to chew today, so that is the priority. I must also book DD a haircut,I've been putting it off for so long as she hates having it cut but it really is very long now and too sweaty on her neck and back in this warm weather.

For the first time in a long time DS has slept past 6am, hurrah! So I am enjoying a brew in peace. Will check online banking then start pottering.

    Have lovely days all xx

  • As the weather is MUCH cooler today, my job from my mammoth list will be the loft, major amounts of tidying to do, hopefully some decluttering to to reduce the amount of stuff up there, this will make it easier when we eventually move.

    Happy Flying
    Wish.

    Fluttering along slowly 'Chez nous'.

Got back from weekend away yesterday after having picked up DD2 from ferry. Took her directly for eye exam and then went to choose new glasses and sun glasses (ended up going for lunch and a pause in the middle of choosing but done with no stressful moments). Back home, WM on and kitchen cleared round and wiped so not looking too bad.

A couple of bits ironed this morning as OH wanted a specific shirt (brand logo) so I did a few bits at the same time as it is nice and cool, there is still a pile but at least not a mountain.

Bathrooms are a all in need of a going over so will do that this afternoon, working 10.30 - 12.00 so will go to bank and try and see pc doctor with DD2 pc whilst in town then home for lunch and can get on with stuff.

Sorry to hear so many of you are having a hard time at the moment but don't forget to enoy the good times. Take 5 minutes at the end of the day to think about the good points in the day, and don't forget about the simple pleasures. (Easier said than done but just need to remind myself from time to time)

Time for another coffee then shower, get dressed and put WM on.

    Unload DW whilst kettle boils.

    xx

ATB - paperwork frog is priority here today too.

Just having first cuppa of day in garden then shower, walk dogs, water garden, eat, wash up and paperwork.

If there's time also ironing and jobs from the lists. I have a meeting to go to tonight too.
