What small DFW things will you do w/c 25th June?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

Morning all
Thanks for the start PF
Lovely weather here again
Quick list as I must get on! OH is away on a fishing trip for a couple of days and DD will be here with kids shortly which means nothing further will get done!
Quick kitchen tidy up (Done)
Washing out on line (Done)
Check banks and update spreadsheet after weekend spends
Read meters and enter readings on energy company's web site
Load of dry washing to put away
Remake spare bed
Loaf out of freezer
Loads of HM food left in fridge after the weekend, so little / no cooking needed, especially as OH isn't here.
Dog needs walking later
Necessarily short list, but may get more done once DD and kids go home - depends on how demanding they are and how worn out I get!
In other news - I patched my old jeans yesterday. They featured in these daily lists for ages, then just dropped off Not because I had done them, just because I couldn't even be bothered to write about them any more :rotfl: Anyway, I sat in the garden yesterday afternoon and did them, and sewed a button back on OH's trousers as well :T0 -

Morning folks
Thanks to purps for starting us off
ziggy - that sounds like a good haul!
Warm and sunny here. Very productive evening last night. OH actually came out into the garden and mowed the lawn while I potted up the tomatoes and the hanging basket!
I felt very proud putting my home grown courgettes, peas and garlic into the risotto also had more strawberries from the garden for dessert. Nearly all gone now.
Last 2 years have been total failures in the veggie garden d/t the weather. I'm hoping this year will be better.
Feeling a bit dizzy and tired today - hopefully it will pass.
Today's mission:- B/L/D from stores - done
- Charge phone in work - done
- Poss make the cake I didn't get to yesterday - nope.
- Gym at lunchtime if feeling well enough - will see how I feel later
- Water garden - done
Have a good one all

Hi June-Penny-Jugglers,
We go on holiday tomorrow for a week; so today will be mainly spent "mopping up" tasks before that. I want to leave the house and my life all organised before we go.
Gads, I was over on the wrong week's page again! Wondered where everyone was! :rotfl:

Morning all. Your days sound lovely determined and 1LL far better than my commute to a big city, work in office with no windows and back again :rotfl: anyway, I've had a productive morning so far:
One load of washing on
Sausage casserole in sc for parents tea later
Made apple and blackberry crumble using last years blackberries still
Flylady bathroom
DW emptied and loaded and ready to go on again before we go out
Made mine and dd lunch from what was in fridge
Hot drink for commute
Checked banking
Quick shower, hair to dry naturally
Things for later:
Contact vets as insurance have said some details are missing for a claim
Call swimming lesson people to complain about dd, should be a continual assessment but 3 months I'm still none and I asked last night and they said they would, still nothing.
Talk to DH about mortgage, if we ever get 5 minutes :rotfl:
Found some steak in freezer that I thought I'd used so having that for tea
Water plants, feed tomatoes
Some work :rotfl:
Enjoy your holiday ally0
