cannot see any frozen lamb legs on that list ? ( I dont disbelieve you - I just would want buy at the price you are quoting )

I can't find them either, no £3.50 a kilo for frozen legs that I can see.

All I can find is fresh half leg at half price £5 a kilo http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=287349315
Fresh whole leg, half price at £5 a kilo http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=267460149

None of which I would eat, unfortunately. Why do so many of these meal deals consist of junk food?

Because frozen Pizza ,chips , Potatoes etc are very cheap to make - so they can still make a profit by selling at £5 for the package

I thought the £10 easter deal pretty good. The lamb was delicious.

Oh, how frustrating! I was hoping for something at least half edible in the new deal. There's not a single thing I would use from this one!

At least the previous one with 4 x battered cod portions (not the best quality but edible enough to make fish sandwiches) frozen peas (staple item) oven chips (gave them to the kids) Aunt Bessie's Jam Roly Poly (yum!) and Carte D'Or ice cream (yum again!) were well worth paying £5 for considering the ice cream alone usually costs £3.

I'd have bought this but sadly my freezer was too full at the time.

Agree with Feral re the current offer - not very nutritious at all. But my Co-op has been very generous of late - issuing till spits for money off fruit and veg with no conditional spend, and money off bread, milk and eggs. In the last 8 days I've had free broccoli, free leeks, free lettuce and a free loaf
