    what I would do is remove the battery, mains power too, remove the ssd, Then hold the power button down in an attempt to discharge everything.

    I would then not put the battery back, but use mains.

    I'd probably not in the first instance put the ssd back and then switch it on and wait. If it works and becomes responsive to the keyboard would then put the ssd back in

    Think something else is clicking?

    Generally pink is not a good sign. The only pick screen I have ever seen, that I remember well was a bad Nvidia driver chip on a motherboard. Pink screen is most likely unrelated to not being able to boot.

    Blue, grey/white are common.

    I'd check the ram too since you dropped it, as they may have become a bit dislodged, connectors on the Mboard may also have been shaken a bit too.

    Use another laptop to create Windows 10 installation media. Boot from it and run a Repair or Clean Install.

    Best to not utilise UEFI Mode on that device.

    You can take the SSD out, put it in an inexpensive caddy and then copy off the data that you need.
    Once done, you can pop it back in order to clean install Windows 10.

    Doesnt sound good like the previous poster said no moving parts so if something is clicking may more than the battery was dropped think you need to speak with your offspring...! feel free to pm me for further info/troubleshooting
