Charging points vs Wheelchair access

Photogenic First Anniversary Name Dropper First Post
I understand that in some parts of the country (London mainly) - Vehicle charging points are being put in the wrong place - in the middle of pavements - effectively blocking wheelchair access ?
Anyone experienced this ?

    In my London borough they are on the edge of the pavement so no.

    What is a charging point ? Is it something you have in them big cities ? We have a few wasted car park spaces with electric boxes in that no one ever uses.

    Which is the logical place really? Perhaps this is what our dear OP is referring to... A case where the pavement isn't that wide.
