    hi there!
    I will tell you the easiest way to achieve this, and it doesnt involve lengthy instructions and a gizillion different software packages!

    you need a run-of-the mill Audio editor, something that can record basically. I use a great package that comes with older Creative soundblaster cards called 'Wave studio'. you may be able to download this from google search

    Alternatively, Adobe have a program called 'Audition' which does the same thing. It's a 30day trial, but im sure there are cracks etc available (not that im condoning such behaviour!)

    that should do the trick! when you have installed it, play your dvd movie on the computer, and open a new document in Audition. simply now press the red record icon, to record the sound coming from your movie
