dilemma, pay car with cc? 2nd Apr 18 at 5:48 PM
    hi again all...

so ive decided to pay off my car finance early in full (8,300) to save myself 1200..

however im unsure as to weather i can? or should try and spread it across my 3 cc's, effectively using that as my stooze pot.

my other option is to pay it with savings(saving the 1200 and also impacting my credit score positively) and use the cc's for everday spending as originally planned.

I have emailed the finance company to ask if that is an option, but would the cc companys allow this? as it is basically shifting debt?

it seems a good idea to keep the savings earning interest, pay off the car for the cheaper rate, and pay the cards minimum for as long as pos (settling the balance or doing a BT when the time comes)

    any advice/input greatly appreciated
