Vision2Learn is excellent. I've just completed the online web Entrepeneur course. It teaches you the basics about the web, emailing etc, and then progresses on to writing hypertext markup language which enables you to design and structure a website. The tutors are excellent and I cannot praise their knowledge base and helpfulness enough.0

"Learning Adobe Photoshop can be a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be! Adobe Photoshop Basics is a free online class consisting of eight self-paced lessons that will give get you up and running with a good start. It won't teach you all there is to know about Photoshop--that can take years--but it will give you a solid foundation that you can build on though online tutorials, third-party books, or other training."0 -

Not totally free, but very cheap - you need to belong to a local branch of U3A to sign up and there's a small further charge for courses:

I'm using the BBC courses at present to learn French but they offer most other popular languages. They are very good as you can watch the programmes which were televised online at any time and save your progress online. They are also interactive so you can do written work online and other activities also.
