Any benefit to paying TV Licence monthly vs one Annual Payment?

The only benefits I can think of are not having to pay a larger lump sum all at once, and the ability to cancel it if you decide you no longer wish to watch/record/stream any Live TV or make use of iPlayer catchup services and not have to wait for a pro-rata refund if you're partway through the year.
