Oooo, Nice chunk paid off :):) Really don't think we'll get a chance to do that again before Christmas though.

    Fantastic way to start September.

Dh has also changed his Mobile contract. He was on a £35 a month contract. He's cancelled it as it was due to end in September. He's now gone with giffgaff £15 a month.

I realized the other day whilst doing my review I really only concentrated on the previous 3 months and then mid term goals.

So I'm setting myself a monthly goal list- wishingthemortgageaway I like your little list for this :)

    1) To pay a total of £1500 off debt
    £552.89/£1500

    2) To get £300 in the EF
    £170/£300

    3) To list 10 items on Ebay
    0/10

    4) To earn £30 from surverys - only payable to count
    £0/£30

OK, sat down with DH and reviewed our debts. Noticed that the bicycle finance hadn't been updated in a couple of months. Confirmed that I'd forgot to deduct 2 months worth of payments...so that has been amended.

We've also increased the TV payment from £45 to £76.01 a month. That has taken 7 months off the end date. We'll keep reviewing this and assessing whether we can afford to increase it further.

Haha I know right. It's finance with Currys and when you log into the account you can't change the monthly payment amount to what you like. Instead there is a dial to change the length of time you want to continue to pay. Frustratingly the balance it shows you online is not the real total that will be paid off as interest is calculated each month.

    Day off today and tomorrow.
DS starts back at school tomorrow and wanted to go out for the day today...something free of course. But it's raining heavily and forecast shows that to be the case all day.

So...I'm sure the overflowing arts and crafts kit will get used today.

It goes without saying that that he is ready to get back to school. I do worry though, he starts year 1 this year. It'll require more discipline and concentration which he struggles with. We're waiting for an ADHD assessment :(

DH is also off work still recovering from hurting his back. Just waiting on an appointment for a CT scan to rule out something more serious.

Hope to get to the allotment today and clear up some more soil and looking into planting some of the seeds I've got.

Oh and I might even brave the rain and go for a run. I've put on way too much weight this year. I love food...so I need to exercise :rotfl: I used to run a lot. Even completed the London Marathon a few years back ..slowly...but I did it. I may never get to that level of fitness again due to time constraints etc but I'd love to try. Some colleagues spoke about doing a half marathon next March which I'm totally up for.
Will be interesting to see what my level of fitness is like at the moment though
