M&S Bank Credit Card Blagged Deal 2nd Nov 16 at 5:11 PM
Hi guys, from now on, whenever we run a big exclusive deal on the site, we'll open a new thread so we can keep track of any issues you might be having with the offer.

With that in mind, we're featuring a new exclusive offer on the site that whilst perhaps not being suitable for everyone, we feel might be a good deal for some of you; http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/mands-30-voucher-card-offer

Free £30 M&S voucher for spending a penny
    M&S BANK* - 25 MONTHS 0% (18.9% REP APR AFTER)

Apply for the M&S Bank* card via the link by 30 November, and buy anything (even if you just spend 1p) by 31 December, and you'll get a £30 M&S voucher. You'll also get reward points when you spend on the card, plus you'll get 500 bonus points (equivalent to a £5 voucher) the first time you spend in M&S.

The voucher will be emailed to you from this address; mandsbank@servicing.mandsbank.com by 31 January and must be used by 28 February.

If you have any issues with taking the offer, you can reach M&S on either 0345 900 0900 or by email at customerservices.internet@mandsbank.com and they should be able to help.

If you're still struggling, you can post on this thread, below, or reach us via direct email on: voucherhelp@moneysavingexpert.com

    No voucher, no points!?
    Hi all,

I signed up for this deal before the November end date, and made spend in December. I've not heard or received any vouchers from M&S. I've just called up their C&S and they need to confirm that I'm eligible for the offer and will call me back in 48 hours?

Has anyone had any successes claiming this offer?

yes, in a round about way.. but it certainly doesn't proceed smoothly, and you have to hassle their poor CS.

There's now a new version of this offer.

Apply for M and S credit card between 1 and 28 February 2017 and get accepted (new credit card customers only).

Then spend on the card 5 times by 9 April. No minimum spend per transaction (could be a loaf of bread) and the transactions can be on the same day, or different days.

Receive £30 voucher by email before 2 May.

Voucher expires on 31 May. Must be spent in one transaction.

I applied today for the CC and have been accepted. Awaiting paperwork by post (agreement to be returned duly signed), then card and PIN.

Hope to get everything set up to meet 9 April deadline for the spending.

I'll update this thread with how things progress. Hopeful but I won't be too surprised if problems arise in view of others' experience.

The deadline for applying under this version of the offer is 28 February (Tuesday), so anyone wanting to apply (via the MSE link) should do so quickly.

I would advise you contact M&S at the earliest if you haven't received your vouchers.

This has worked well. £30 voucher received today (16 March). Can be used online or in-store by 31 May (but must be used in one transaction).

This was the "apply in February" version of the offer. I applied online on 8 February and was approved. After returning signed agreement by post, I received card and PIN around 22/23 February. I used it in 5 small transactions between 24th and 27th February (time limit for use in 5 transactions was 9 April). I've since repaid the balance and locked the card away and won't be using it again.

I was supposed to receive the voucher by 2 May, so I didn't expect to receive it so early. I'll leave a decent interval and then cancel the card.

Worth the effort. Others may disagree.

Just wanted to share my recent experience of applying for one of the MSE offers for the M&S credit card.

I applied on the last day of the previous offer (31 May) and I still don't have a credit card! It is the longest, most drawn out and ridiculous application I've ever made. Any other company would have the card issued within a couple of weeks.

Thankfully they have honoured the cashback since I missed the balance transfer deadline.

The new offer is better so if you're thinking about going for it then make sure to get your application in asap!

M&S credit card deal via MSE link November 2017
    Hi
Did anyone use the link posted a week ago on here for the M&S credit card? My husband applied for it, and got a message at the end of the application to say that M&S would be in touch my email in a couple of days. He's heard nothing, so he doesn't know if he'll get the card or not, he's a M&S bank customer.

I used the link to apply for the credit card and received the card and pin this week. According to MSE I should have received a voucher worth £5 with the card. Guess what? No voucher came with the card. I am feeling somewhat dubious about really getting the vouchers as I have just glanced through this thread and loads of people flagged up problems with a similar deal they were doing last year.

I wonder if anyone has had any success with this or is it too good to be true?

    Hello,
I also used the link and signed up by the deadline. I did not receive a £5 voucher. I spent over £100, some of it at M&S - I now have 2059 M&S points, which I believe is worth £20.59.

I understood that they'd send a £20 voucher separately at some point - but there is still the question of that initial £5 voucher!

your M&S Credit Card. Valid in store on presentation of the
original voucher at the till. Can be used once only in a single
transaction and must be handed in on redemption.

Still not sure if I'm supposed to get a voucher with my card (as stated on the MSE site) or whether I have to wait for my 'first quarterly reward mailing' as above.

    M&S lost my application
I recently signed up for the latest offer in my local M&S Bank branch. Having heard nothing I called back in to be advised they had no trace of the paper application I had filled in at the branch and was promised would be input that day. Despite various cals and visiting the branch again I have made a formal complaint as who knows where the document with all of my personal data on including bank accounts dates of birth etc is? Certainly not M&S

I have seen the £45 total offer which expires tomorrow.

It says existing M&S credit card holders are not eligible. Does that apply if you are an additional card holder on someone else's card.

I am an additional cardholder on my husbands card (the only M&S card I have had) - does anyone know if i would I qualify if I apply for my own card in my own name?

Does card holder mean account holder?

I applied for a card in September it turned up 29th December I was out of the country so didn't use it until February. they are now saying they won't give me the voucher as I needed to use it by 31/02/18, a massive 7 days to use it even if I had been in the country. What a con.

Signed up to "Ends TODAY: Free £50+ M&S vouchers"
I signed up to "Ends TODAY: Free £50+ M&S vouchers" deal sent out from MSE (MartinsMoneyTips@moneysavingexpert.com) on 31st Jan 2018 on that day, the offer breakdown appeared to be:

    (i) £20 in M&S pts. Just spend anything anywhere within 90 days to get this.

(ii) £30 M&S vch. Spend £100+ anywhere by 31 Mar.

(iii) Extra £5 M&S vch. You're sent a coupon with the card. Scan it when you buy almost anything at M&S and you're due another £5 of points.

    What's happened so far:
    (i) Seems to have happened after spending £120 on the card (of which £25 was in an M&S store before the end of February) and it has given me 2,000 points in my M&S account, which I understand will be transferred into an M&S voucher and emailed to me 30th April.

(ii) Seems to be a myth as no one at M&S CS knows anything about this one or how it should work (£100+ in one transaction, in total..... any ideas anyone?), although they did keep saying wait until the email about vouchers end of April. Said I'd call back if I don't see this extra £30 worth of vouchers.

(iii) There was a 500 points tear off voucher in the paperwork that came with the card, very easily missed, I nearly binned it as it looks like the usual stuff you bin when you get new cards. Scanned the voucher at checkout at M&S store and sure enough I have another 500 points added to my 2,000 from (i).

To date I have 2,566 points in my M&S points (points i & iii worked) but there's no sign of anything more yet (point ii)...

I have just checked my Experian credit report via MSE and it appears my M&S CC has disappeared from it. That is, I can see it on the previous report, but not on the latest one.

I do have the card in my wallet and I am using it quite often - 0% on purchases comes handy at the moment. The card does show in M&S online banking system and the credit utilisation is about 20%.

Should I try to find out what's happening?
