    Hello lovely,

I'm really struggling with money at the moment. I'm 7 weeks behind with my transfers. I will need to make them up and soon before it all gets too much to make up.

I also have a very large credit card bill to pay off but I know if I don't keep up with my VSP I'll be in an even worse state.

Please don't give up on me. I will be back soon with an update, hopefully after payday.

    Me again,

So for anyone that doesn't know, I do my VSP a little differently to most.

I have a piece of paper with the numbers 1-52 on them. Each week I choose a number and pay that amount into my bank. I do also add bits and pieces here and there like everyone else.

By doing it this way it means I will have at least £1,378 towards Christmas, any extra is a bonus.

It makes the saving more manageable for me and isn't as boring as saving £26.50 a week. If I'm short of cash one week I can save one of the lower amounts and if I'm feeling flush one of the higher ones :)

Because of one thing and another I have got myself 8 weeks behind. I have a plan in place to get out of the debt to myself. I have allocated numbers for each of the weeks and the total comes to £238. To complete May I need to pay £84, the rest of the money is for June. I am going to pay the £84 now and submit my total for May, I hope this is ok Westie? By the end of July, I hope to have paid off the total for June but I will submit my total for June tomorrow as I know how much it will be. In the meantime, I plan to continue my payments weekly for July so hopefully, by the end of July, i will be back on track.

I know it's all very confusing but I had to get it written down.

I have submitted my total for June £154.03.

I have managed to pay £90 of that off already leaving only £64 to pay (the 3p was interest).

Looking at my bank I already have almost £1000 saved in my VSP! I also have some notes and change to add to that from my SPC. I am so very proud of myself. This year has been quite a struggle money wise but I am doing it and getting there.

I still have £3,300 to pay off my CC but I am slowly getting through that too and it's 0% interest for over a year still. I WILL have it paid off before the interest free period runs out!

    BRAVO!!!!

I have a credit card to pay off end of this month, I hope to be able to use some money from a maturing regular saver.
