    You have three choices:

    1) Leave things as they are and at the end of the year, assuming she hasn't earned at least £11850 and used up her personal allowance in the first job, apply for a tax refund for the overpayment on the second job.

    2) If the second job has more hours than the first and she's able to earn £227.88 a week every week in it change that to be her primary job where the entire personal allowance is applied.

    3) Split the personal allowance 50/50 between each job so in each job the first £113.94 a week is tax free..

For 2 and 3 she would need to phone HMRC.

Depends on what she expects to earn. Worst case is she doesn't earn at least £11850 in the first job, ends up overpaying and has to phone HMRC for a refund after 5th April.

    Ok Thanks for reply,
She's hoping between both jobs to be getting about 1K per month. Its going to be hard to find which will have more shifts as she's going on the nursing bank for both places. So looking like your option 1. and we will figure out how to reclaim tax at the end of next year.
