Count me in please - I've got a difficult 15 months ahead (self-imposed, no sympathy required!! ;)) so really need to stay focused and motivated!

Charity donation comes out monthly by dd so that is sorted - the rest will be hard work!! :rotfl:

    Taking up the challenge:

    Non-negotiables:
    18 NSDs
    Groceries PW 80.00
Petrol PW £30.00 (had to up it we we’re always short)
    -£5 to foodbank / charity
Debts First Ok. Very Catalogue was cleared last month (earlier than planned) I plan to move the regular weekly payment to CC*
-meal plan < to do , plenty of food in from Christmas, will just need top ups on veggies. Reverting to SW way of thinking, this was an excellent way to stay in control of the food.

Unabashed, unambiguous, unconditional, undaunted, undivided, unerring, unshakeable devotion to your goal(s).
I’m relying on you guys to keep me to these:

Where do you want to be in 12 months from now?
    Annual Goals:
Edit the novel(s): whats the point of writing this stuff if no-one’s reading it.
Clear the clutter. Ebay/Carboot first then charity
No more work for free (that others can profit from) This is hard for me, I can see how a thing can be done, so I just go and do it.
Always take your lunch to work. I’d love for DD1 to take packed lunches to school, but she doesn’t get to sit with friends, nor do they have lockers. Looking for ways to sell this to her as it would save us £15 a week.
READ: I wanted to read 20 books last year and didn’t get close, (not counting the kids books I read with DD2) so my aim is 20 again this year.
Already assigned regifts, recycled boxes/paper at tip.
    Mental/Physical/Wellbeing.
-Activity. Gym 3 times a week. 1 swim with kids.
-Mindful: Created a “Phone Box” from waste box and wrapping paper, everyone’s agreed if it’s a FAMILY movie night phones and digidevices go in there. We’ve also set aside a games night, created a Game Box all the names of the board games we own are in it. Random pick. That way there’s no fighting as to what game is picked. Again phones in the box for this.

5 years from now? Down to 1 CC and no Council Tax Debt.

With regards to the Stretch Goals, I want to get more in touch with the planning needed to achieve these things. I struggle to keep track of this one thread but can see how it’s inspired me. I need to look at my time management. So that is to be my personal goal for the month. Master the time.
*Clearing the debt has to be done, I discovered that DH has been using a card we cleared earlier this month. Then there’s his mammoth student debt at 60 grand, not from UK so has to be paid regardless of income, Mine too, fortunately I’d have to earn more for it to start coming out of my pay. On top of that is the 2000 council tax benefit overpayment which doesn’t ever seem to go away.
I have 20 a week not budgeted to Christmas savings, subscriptions etc. so I will throw that at something. I started this post so positive :( I don’t feel like I am making any headway.

Thanks for the new thread Apple. I'll join in again this month.

We have DS's birthday next weekend so we are having a day out locally and a takeaway that day but that is all budgeted for. After that we have no major events for a while.

DancingDragons - have you done an soa? It might clarify things for you, and enable you to set mini and not-so-mini goals.
