Would love to join you in this Purplemumof2.
Someone said to me in October, as a throw away comment, that they save their 20p coins in an empty steredent tube and that each tube held £20. Having filled one tube and now started on a second one, I can confirm that they do, indeed, hold £20.
I will start my saving again on 1 January :T£2 coin savings club 2024 #1 £0 (2023 £754; 2022 £472; 2021 £256; 2020 £358; 2019 £512; 2018 £404; 2017 640)Saving for Xmas 202 £1 a day #4 £365 / £365 3-6 month emergency fund challenge #48 £2,377 Save a penny a day 2024 #32 £ . / £667.95 £1000 emergency fund challenge #232 £1,007/ £1,000 (achieved Nov 2020)0 -

Hi Purplemumof2,
I'm new to MSE and have just discovered this challenge. I would like to join please.
I've started saving my 20p coins over the Christmas holidays. Only have 15 so far but I think it's a good start.
I'm going to aim for a total of £250 - ambitious perhaps, but I'm a cash spender so I think I can manage it.
Cheers,
