    Good morning

Strange weather day today. It feels very humid but no sign of
expected thunderstorms (weather warning for today & tomorrow).

Actually, itís just started to rain very lightly now - so thankfully
I managed to get early morning walk in plus picked up a few
provisions from local shops, just in case. The weather nowadays
    seems to be really quirky!

Youíre most welcome fire**fly & many thanks for the
    choccie cake - absolutely scrumptious!

Have a lovely Tuesday all, take care.

We are home. We had been thinking of going to visit DD1 and finally decided Sunday to go on the train.
Children were happy to see us and we went out to a real Italian restaurant for a meal. They have free pizza or pasta for children late afternoon. So lots of families.
Monday DD1 was off work to take GD on a visit the school she’s going to start in September. Her brother is there already. We had a nice meal with them yesterday.

Agree with you Alfie weather is very strange. I dodged rain this morning looking at a few clothes shops but no success. Fortunately no problems getting train home as South Western Trains have strikes starting today.
Raining and very dull as we came into London.

Better catch up with some comps. Good luck everyone.

Expect i will find it now.I should have been working today but shift was cancelled again so sent email to manager saying i am looking for other employment as fed up with shifts being cancelled.Got a nice email back so let's see what shifts i get for next week.I am looking for another job but biding my time.Any way better get this parcel posted off. Hope you all have a good day.

    Hellooeee

Hope youíre all ok? The weather down my way feels really
humid - mix of sun/cloud & little bit of light rain with thunder
    rumbling in the distance.

Yippee! Looks as if weíre in for some decent weather from
tomorrow for quite a few days! ☀️😎☀️ I can hear the
    garden calling.

So pleased you got home ok leanfun, re rail strikes.
Canít imagine what the commuters feel about it, really
disruptive for everyone, particularly those who work up in
London. The Italian restaurant sounds wonderful, especially
doing free pizza or pasta for kiddies in the afternoon.
    Brilliant!

Hope you managed to get your parcel posted ok indie. Whatís
the betting youíll find the elusive brown paper in the next few
days! Donít blame you sending off email to your Manager
re cancelled shifts, & then receiving a nice reply back. Itíll
be interesting to see what shifts youíre given next week.

Time for a cuppa me thinks. Have a lovely rest of
    the day all, take care.

Evening, it's been showery all day, you think it's stopped and off it goes again.Glad it's going to be nice the next few days as sons GF is going over to the island (Isle of wight)for a long weekend on Friday with her friend. They are taking their bikes over and plan to travel all round on them. The friend is arriving tomorrow night.
Well i had a phone call from my manager earlier giving me shifts next week for every day i wanted.Amazing where he finds shifts when he wants. I posted the parcel, not come across the paper yet but sure i will when not looking for it,lol

    Good morning

Itís beautiful weather here today, the sunís shining away & itís
    very warm out! 😍☀️😎

I think your sonís girlfriend & pal will have a wonderful time on
the Island indie, especially if the weather is similar to today. Lol
at your Manager ringing back with new shifts yesterday - as you
say, itís amazing he can find shifts when he needs to!

This morning, I noticed quite a few doggy walkers havenít been
clearing up after their pets. Still donít understand why
a few people think itís ok just to walk away, without a thought
for other folk, children etc who also enjoy the forest. Iíll have
to print off more leaflets (as before) to give folk a reminder. 🐶

Will be spending a good part of the next few days gardening,
making the most of the weather. Will also pop round to lovely
guy to give him a helping hand with his garden too.

Have a lovely day all, take care.

Morning,Suns out here and it's warming up nicely. I have just put washing out and there is a nice breeze so shouldn't take long to dry.Good idea about the reminder Alfie, the people are "out of sight out of mind" brigade.
I am just doing housework this morning then out in the garden this afternoon.

Morning, just had a problem with Safari going down. Now I’ve got to sign into everything Ho Ho. Yesterday Instagram blocked me from liking too.

Yesterday I had a letter from Bauer I thought great I’ve one something. It was the letter about the pressure washer. It did say you might have received your prize.

Indie sorry to hear you have had problems with work. Do hope you are given the hours you want from now in. You winder what these managers are up to.

It’s sunny here too this morning. Let’s hopeut lasts a bit. I too need to do some gardening.

Alfie some people are just thought less.

We were so tired yesterday after our few active days. Need to catch up here today.
Hope everyone has a good day and good luck.

Morning, hope the problem is sorted now and you don't have to keep signing in.I have just dropped sons GF and her friend off at the hovercraft terminal. They have decided to get a bus ticket to travel round the island as she has a cold and her friend has hurt her knee and a lot of cycling won't do either of them any good.
We had the sun out here earlier but it's clouded over now, it's quite warm out as well.I am going to the cinema later with son to see Men in Black international, looks a funny film. I had a giggle with a lady on checkout in Tesco's last night. I popped in for some fruit and the pineapple spike dug into her finger. She said "that's a fiesty one" i told her not to worry as i would get my own back later when i chopped it's head off, lol.
Hope you all have a good day...

Very sunny here now. Hope it lasts.

Indie you have made me laugh about the pineapple incident. Love pineapple but have to feel like chopping its head off.
Sounds a good idea for your Ds’s Gf and friend to get the bus passes. Hope they enjoy.

I’ve managed to sort everything out with IPad but still a lot of sites to put email and passwords in. I think with Instagram I did too many competitions too quickly.

Indie hope you enjoy the film and turns out to be really funny. I’ve just managed to book tickets for film Gone Girl for tomorrow with Show Film First at BFI.

Hope everyone has a good day. It’s longest day today. Love the light evenings.

    Afternoon Everyone,

Lovely and sunny here today too. Have my washing out on the line. Two days of sunshine forecast then we are back to rain again.
At least it is nice weather on the longest day of the year.

I have two small wins. Firstly I got one of the vouchers for a free box of PG tips.
Also won a fathers day comp some shaving gel and a razor.
    Both prizes have arrived.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Itís another beautiful weather day here, just come in from
tidying up the front garden. Itís really warm in the sunshine, ☀️
😎 so just cooling off a little & enjoying a cold drink.

I had a very productive day yesterday - ticked quite a lot off
my never ending Ďto do listí & even tackled a pile of ironing
    (such a boring chore!).

Hope youíve got everything sorted out now leanfun. Enjoy the
film tomorrow. Iím slowly updating my contacts on my new
phone. It seems to take an age but Iím slowly getting there.

I wouldnít be without the phone now, so handy!

Morning, well done on the wins I Love comps. We have a lovely morning here, suns out and it's warming up nicely. I enjoyed the film last night but not as good as the first one but then i always find that. Maybe it was because Will Smith wasn't in it and he always brings a good vibe to his films.DS is working later today so i will be in the garden, weeding as they have really sprouted up with all the rain we have had.Hope you all have a good weekend.

    Good Morning all,

Just popped in to say we are having a great time in Cornwall.
Had lovely time in Newquay area and now on Lizard Peninsula. Have been to Falmouth, St Ives, Land's End, Lizard Point and some NT places. Today doesn't look too great but meaning to try visiting some tin mines (used in Poldark series) Such a shame Cornwall so far from home or would come often! Heading into Somerset tomorrow.

Morning, sounds like you are having a good time sheils. That's the problem living so far from places you like, but a good excuse to plan another visit there, lol.
We have another warm day here but no sun as yet. I got some plants re-potted yesterday and brought a few more to add to the pots.Going to cut grass out front today, whilst weather is good.Hope you all have a good day

    Good morning

Another beautiful start to the day here, warm with light
cloud. The sunís due to make an appearance in the next
hour (apparently)! 🌤 Have given all the tubs a good
watering earlier on this morning & just about to go out
& potter around in the garden.

Sounds as if youíre having a wonderful time in Cornwall
sheils. Iíve always loved it there, so many interesting
    places to visit.

I need to inspect my mower before I use it again indie.
Think thereís something caught up inside going by the
noise itís making. Still cuts fine but not keen on hearing
the screeching sound when I turn it on!

Have a lovely Sunday all, take care.

Love the pic Alfie, thanks. Hope you can fix your mower.

Indie pleased you enjoyed your film the other night. We had enjoyed the film last night. Gone Girl. Rosamund Pike was the main actress and there was a Q&A at the end with her. Very interesting. Saw a lot of people coming back from Ascot at Waterloo.

Sheils pleased you have had some good sunny days. Only saying the other day we never made it past Deven with the children on holiday due to lots of rain. I have heard from friends June best month for Cornwall.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

    Good morning

Phew! Just taken a load of gardening waste to the refuse tip.

Although I already have a fortnightly collection I had extra to
dispose of (helping out lovely local guy with gardening) so
decided to make the trip first thing. Wrong move!

It was every man for himself this morning, everyone had
the same bright idea of arriving early & it went horribly pear
shaped! I was commiserating with another lady who was
struggling with all her garden rubbish & thankfully some very
kind gentlemen came to her rescue.

Your evening sounds wonderful leanfun & so interesting! Iíve
found a fascinating link re Rosamund Pike, lovely lady ....

Iím a very proud mum, my lovely son together with
his wonderful girlfriend are taking part in a skydive. Not
just to raise awareness & much needed funds for prostate cancer,
but also in memory of my husband who sadly lost his battle to
this dreadful disease 8 years ago. 💙
